Bill certainly hit the ball out of the park! It is so true. I have to admit to a chip on my shoulder over the departure of that NFL team that used to be in San Diego. For me, it was an insult to my loyalty to the team and even worse, a bold faced insult to our City. We were small market chumps, too self-absorbed in our very enviable lifestyle, not a place for sports. Really? Maybe it was all about greed and poor citizenship. Well, I am exorcised, the demon is gone! The Padres, Loyal, Seals, Wave, and Gulls, all deep in the postseason, and more importantly all deep in our community, making us a place where we can reclaim our place as a great sports town, with world class community oriented Leadership. Play on San Diego…take that LA!
